Kermandie Oval |
|---|
| A true country ground this one. The southernmost football ground in Australia is located just past the Kermandie Lodge. It is on the Huon Highway and there are two massive tree-stumps outside the ground with large chains around them, the ground is like a trip back in time. A lovely quaint ground with a bluestone building at the Geeveston end housing changerooms/timekeepers box/scoreboard/Kermandie Clubrooms that was built in 1954 with a kiosk next to it. The rest of the ground is for cars parked around the boundary line. The playing surface is small but is nice and flat. |
