Kingston Beach Oval, Hobart

Located behind the hotel along the beachfront you turn into Recreation St and there it is. It is a very, very small oval hidden behind shops and homes. It has a tiny wooden stand on the wing and a tiny scoreboard at the beach end of the ground. It has well appointed clubroom facilities at the Kingston Town end of the ground as well as brick changerooms just along from it in the carpark. The ground is also another ground with carparking around the boundary fence although you would be advised to get there early to get a spot. It's days are numbered as a football venue as the Kingston FC are applying to join the 1st Division of the SFL next year and the Kingston Beach Ground is just too small for football to be played and the facilities are fairly ordinary. The Kingston FC is hoping to have a new ground built on Huntingfield Estate near Kingston.
