The Tasmanian Hockey Centre is one of the best Hockey facilities in the country. Although there is several smaller courts -
the centre court is the main stadium.
It is located in Glenorchy, on the Northern side of the Hobart domain, and is fully floodlit with 4 30m high towers.
On the main wing there is a main grandstand with about 4,000 seats and on the outer is a large hill with some open seats at
centre wing. Its overall capacity is about 10,000.
The centre is the home of Tasmanian hockey, but has hosted international events including the 2001 Under 18's Hockey
World Cup.
